Frequently Asked Questions

What is a farm share?

- A farm share is an opportunity to purchase produce and farm products in advance at a discount from a farm.

What is a market-style Farm Share?

- A market-style share means that instead of a pre-packaged bag of produce, you’ll be purchasing “credit” that can be used to purchase whatever vegetables you want when you want them. Your account will be debited for each purchase until you’ve used all your balance.

What makes our Heritage Farm Share special?

-  Our produce is all organically grown, using sustainable practices. We incorporate many heirloom varieties of vegetables to provide diversity and introduce people to new vegetables. We also offer eggs and other farm products as available.

How much does it cost?

-  You will pay $300 up front, and receive a credit for $400 in produce over the course of the season (June through October). We ask that you consider donating the additional $100 to support the work of DeVries and the Mobile Market.
