We are excited to announce our spring homeschool session theme, All About Amphibians!🐸🐸🐸
🐸During this session, students will learn all about Michigan amphibians, metamorphosis, and more!
🐸Students will get to meet our amphibian ambassadors, our Gray Tree Frog, American Toad, and Tiger Salamander.
🐸We will explore the vernal pool here at DNC and search for tadpoles and amphibians in their natural habitats.
What does a homeschool class at DNC entail? Each hour and a half class is comprised of a short lesson followed by crafts, games, nature walks, and some time on our nature playscape. This is a drop off style program.
🐸This class will take place on the following Wednesdays:
February 5th
March 5th
April 6th
May 7th
Grades 4th-6th will meet 10-11:30am
Grades K-3rd will meet 1-2:30pm
🐸The cost is $35 per student.
Registration is required and spaces are limited. Registration will open to DNC members on Monday, January 6th, and to nonmembers on Monday, January 13th. To register, visit our website at www.devriesnature.org or call us at (989) 723-3365.
