DeVries Nature Conservancy strives to connect children with nature in a variety of ways. Take a look at our one-of-a-kind opportunities to discover your inner wild side!

Nature Storytime

Our Nature Storytime programs are designed to immerse your preschool to early elementary-aged children in the natural world. Each program will consist of different activities, hikes, games and crafts. Please be prepared to go outside and get messy!

Homeschool Program

DeVries provides programs once a month to homeschool families with hands-on activities and in-depth lessons on our natural world.

Our theme for Spring 2025 is "All About Amphibians".

This session we will learn about Michigan amphibian species, metamorphosis, and more! Students will get to meet our amphibian ambassadors at the nature center and explore the vernal pool here at DNC.

Registration for this opens to DNC members on Monday, January 6th and to nonmembers on Monday, January 13th.

Classes are FULL.
