The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.
Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar to see search and filter options.
DeVries Nature Conservancy
Join Brittany for a guided birdwatching hike! All our welcome, even if you have never gone birding! We will have binoculars available to borrow. Please dress for the weather. We will hike 1-1.5 miles over groomed but unplowed trails. Boots and/ or ice cleats are always a good idea! No sign up needed. Meet outside the nature center.

Join DeVries and MSU Extension for a hands on workshop where you will learn to make your own stock. Recipes and tips for making and preserving your own soups will also be provided.

Join DeVries and MSU Extension for a discussion about food dehydrating! We will talk about equipment, what to dehydrate, storage, and how to use dehydrated foods.

Join Ms. Brittany for a nature story, followed by a craft and a nature walk! This program is designed for children ages 8 and under, but older ages are welcome to attend as well! When registering, only register children who will be doing the craft activity (if you are bringing children who are too young to do the craft, you do not need to pay for it).

Join Brittany for a nature art project followed by a guided hike! This month we will be making pressed floral plaques with your favorite quotes to motivate you for the new year ahead! We will have a variety of printed quotes to add to your proje4ct, but feel free to print your own at home and bring it along! Plaques will be about 6.5x4.5 inches in size.
The nature walk is optional! If you choose to participate, please dress for the weather- our trails are not completely plowed during the winter. Snow boots and/or ice cleats are always a good idea!
Registration is required for this event and the cost is $10 per person. If you experience any issues during the registration process, please call our office at (989) 723-3365 so we may assist you over the phone.
Enjoy a wintry day by touring the DeVries property in a horse-drawn sleigh! Each sleigh ride lasts around 35 minutes and can accommodate 12 people. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be on sale beginning November 20 for members, December 1 for non-members. To buy tickets, please call us at (989) 723-3365.

In the case of unfavorable snow conditions, we will use a horse-drawn wagon. Tickets are non-refundable unless DeVries cancels for extreme weather.
